A graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, Ms. Foster earned her Master's Degree in Science and Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). The extensive four year post-graduate program included training in both Western and Chinese medicine with a focus on Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and therapeutic massage. The program included over 3000 hours of classroom and clinical training. Ms. Foster also completed an externship in Acupuncture Orthopedics/Sports Medicine offered in conjunction with the University of California San Diego.

Ms. Foster is licensed in the state of California and is certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Ms. Foster earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Louisiana State University, with a focus on medical Anthropology- which is where she became interested in the healing techniques of other cultures.
